For the Love of Art - Agnese Cecile

Hello My Dearest,

This is a different post to what I normally write about. I love art, I myself dabble a little too but in no way as well as some amazing artists I would like to share with you.

No surprise there when I say I am a Pinoholic, I love Pintrest. I have been looking for some art for our apartment and came across a few artists I thought need some recognition on my blog.

In this post Agnese Cecile. she has a youtube channel where she shows some of her work. beautiful work. I love watercolour paintings, drawings. Here are some that Agnese has drawn. I love the slightly disturbing kind of portraits, the ones that the artist expressed their inner feelings, the ones that describe the artistic mind of the author. the colour choices and just the sheer design of these is gorgeous. Enjoy.

Inspirational, Emotional and Sentimental.

Hello My Dearest,

Another post inspired by Pintrest. Sometimes I feel very low and have to remind myself why I'm here, why I live my life the way I chose to live it. We all have our moments when we doubt, get sad and don't know who to rise back up to the top. Here are some of my favourite inspirational quotes I found on Pintrest. We all have that peaceful place we want to go when things are not right, the place where our head gets cleared and we can think positively once again. These pins are what clears my head when I am in that place of tranquility trying to sort myself out. Enjoy.

Pin That Home

Hello My Dearest,

I think it's safe to say we all to some extent love to decorate our homes. I must say I really admire Interior Designers, I can only dream of doing an amazing job like them. I thought for this post I will share some of my favourite pins from my Home Decor board and tell you why I love them so much.

My taste in home decor is very mix and match. I love things that are rustic as well as things that are modern and mixing styles and patterns together makes me ecstatic about decorating. Me and my husband live in a small apartment which is spread over two floors. We love our little nest and when designing our interiors we took a lot of inspiration from Pintrest. When all our little projects are finished I may post some pictures on here to show you guys. For now enjoy my pins.

This must be the most rustic, vintage looking room. I love how adventurous it looks maybe the right description would be Sherlock Holmes'esc. I love the chesterfield sofa and the gorgeous wooden trunk as coffee table.
Both me and my husband have a love for antlers and skulls. I love what looks like sheep skin over the chair.  I also love the unusual desk, looks like wallpapering table.
I love me some picture / art wall. I love the layout of these photos, posters etc. I also like the hanging lightbulb and the lovely cabinet in the corner very industrial. Side table made out of what looks like pipes. Industrial with pops of colour.
This is a very light space, the art on the wall is lovely and the unusual mirrored coffee table is breathtaking. This would make any space look bigger due to the mirrored table and the light colours used in decor.
My love for poufs is great, at the moment we only own 2. I love the art wall and the layout on the coffee table. Its very effective, especially the gorgeous rug.
This is my dream chair. I love the textures, patterns and colour. BREATHTAKING or as my husband said it looks like something that he would find in his grandmother's house.
This would look amazing in our house. My husband plays guitar and this would  just look so cool.
Perfect reading corner. I love the studded chair, the gorgeous Pixar lamp and bookshelves. It's another Sherloc'esc room.

That is all from me, if you would like to see more posts like this one please let me know.

My Favourite Blushers from MAC

Hello My Dearest,

Onto my favourite MAC blushers. I probably should add blushers to my addiction list. I own many different brands and colours of this glorious product. Here are my top picks.

From the left: Love Thing, Legendary, Whole Lotta Love and Gingerly.

1. Most used of ALL time. Gingerly which is a sheertone blush mostly matte. It's a dark shade but a very natural looking when applied correctly. I would describe it as browny-orange. It's my everyday colour  topped with another one of my favourites which I will write about in a moment. I think it's a nice colour to contour with if you are not too keen on bronzer, it's much more subtle. I have definitively hit pan on this one and need to repurchase it. I think this colour would work on most skin colours but maybe a little bit too dark for the very fair skin tone.

2. This is my topper for Gingerly. Legendary from the Marilyn Monroe collection. Gorgeous subtle peachy blush. It's a satin finish blusher with a little bit of sparkle. I like to use it as topper with either Gingerly or a bronzer. It's a beautiful everyday, subtle colour. I haven't hit pan yet, I'm trying my hardest not to hit pan as this was from a limited collection. This blusher would work lovely on most skin types, it may be a little too light for the darker skin tones. I would say swatch it and see it may suit you but as I said unfortunately it is limited edition.

3. My summer blush, Whole Lotta Love. I am not sure if this is still available, I have a feeling it was limited edition with the office collection but not sure so don't quote me on that. It's a very vibrant pink with orange speckles, the finish on this one is a pro-long wear blush. It does have ever so slight shimmer to it. I love this blusher for summer when I'm feeling extra happy and colourful. i think this would work for ALL skin tones, it can be applied to build up the colour.

4. This is one of the most gorgeous blushers I own. I bought it coming back from honeymoon at the airport. It's the only mineralize blush I own, Love Thing. It's a blush masterpiece, so pigmented. It's a plum colour with a whole load of shimmer. As it is extremely pigmented you only need to dab your brush in it and apply. Little goes a LONG way. I think this colour would mostly suit darker skin tones. i try to make it work but it's really easy to over do this colour. Perfect for autumn.

These are my favourites and what are yours?
